Gates Chili Soccer v. Hilton

Both the Gates-Chili girls and boys teams took on the cadets Tuesday and Wednesday evening last week.

Very dark and rainy night on Tuesday as the Cadets travelled to Gates-Chili to take on the Spartans in boys soccer. Gates-Chili had some early chances and seemed to have control during the first half of play. Late in the first half, Hilton scored on a deflection to go up 1-0. I left at half due to the loss of light and the look of some heavy weather coming in. Hilton ended up beating GC 1-0 as the game was called due to lightning with 16 mins. left in the 2nd half. I was back to Gates-Chili after the boys played the previous day, the girls of Hilton and Gates were playing now. I was only able to stay for one half and no goals were scored. The second half had plenty of scoring as Gates beat the Cadets 3-1. Click here for the rest of the pics...
